The most important thing in the world is not what we identify ourselves as, it's Who we identify Jesus as.
"God doesn't get angry when we can't do what He asks us to do, but He does get angry when we are not willing." (mulling on the conversation where God tells Moses to lead His people from Egypt, and Moses keeps making up excuses.)
I've learned more about farming in four months than 10 years living near a farm.
I'm just a foot-soldier, bumbling along in a war that has raged thousands of years before I was born and will continue to rage when I'm dust in the ground.
"Beef, it's what's for dinner." Maybe not our dinner though. Maybe, it's not about us at all.
